What actually happens in the Build Session?
We spend under an hour together on a call. We gather your business details, services and the customers you want to reach, choose a design direction, generate the content, and build the site while you're there. You leave with a real website at a real URL, not a proposal.
My current website isn't really hurting us. Why change it?
You may be right. A new website doesn't need to transform your entire business to be worthwhile. For many clients, the goal is simply to make sure the company people see online reflects the company you've already built, especially when prospects, recruits or referrals look you up.
What do I need to prepare before the session?
Nothing. If you have an existing website, a logo or brand colours, we'll use them. If you don't, we'll work from what you tell us about the business.
Do I have to write all the content?
No. Written website content and imagery are included in the build. You'll review what we've created and tell us what needs to change.
How long until the website is live?
The website itself is built during the session. After you review it and we make your revisions, launch depends on connecting your domain, which we handle with you. Most sites go live within days, not months.
What if I want changes after I see it?
That's expected. You review the real website, tell us what needs to change, and we make the important revisions before launch. After launch you can make routine edits yourself from the portal, or ask us.
Can I update the site myself?
Yes. You can edit content directly from the front end of your website, including text, images and other routine information. You never need to work inside a WordPress admin dashboard.
What if I don't want to update it myself?
That's fine too. The portal gives you control when you want it; it doesn't create another system you need to manage every week.
What happens to my domain and email?
Your domain is connected as part of launch. The process is handled deliberately so an existing setup that already works isn't casually disrupted.
Why is there a monthly fee?
You're not buying a website file and being left on your own. Your monthly plan covers the live website relationship: hosting, maintenance, backups, software updates, monitoring, technical support and portal access.
Do I need the SEO package?
Not every business does. If most of your business comes from referrals and you simply need a credible website when people look you up, Foundational may be enough. Business Pro is for businesses that also want to build visibility with people who aren't already searching for them by name.
What if we need something completely custom?
The Signature package is for companies that need a website designed specifically around established brand standards rather than built from the Shore Web Designs design system.
What add-ons are available?
A custom image pack (50 images generated for your business), additional pages, a 12-step email drip campaign, and custom content types such as case studies, resources, products or events with their own listing and detail pages.
Can I start with Foundational and add SEO later?
Yes. Business Pro builds on the same website, so the SEO program can be added when it makes sense for your business.
Who maintains the website after launch?
We do. Hosting, backups, software updates, uptime monitoring and technical support are part of every monthly plan. When you need to change something simple, like your hours, photos or services, you can do it from the portal in a minute.
